According to the news from government related office, Recently in Tibet, there broke a  quarrel between some of the Chinese merchants and the Tibetans. And also a Tibetan student of 13 was rapped by a Chinese teacher. The final decision made on these two crimes was wrong and  illegal which was not in favour of the victims.

In Thevo District of Dhome Province, Ma-shoe-Phen, a notorious Chinese merchant, is paying  money to beat the Tibetan merchants and there are many among the high-ranked officers who receive bribe from him. So that’s why the Tibetan people cannot reply back.

Recently in one restaurant, when a young Tibetan boy Tsering Thar from Thevo Gangtsen was being badly tortured  by some paid men of Ma-Shoe-Phen, he said, “We have been  staying here from time immemorial and we’ll stay in future too. You are simply a guest to this place”.

After saying that, he jumped on the men but Ma-shoe-Phen said, “ It is much cheaper to kill Tibetans, so kill him”. As soon as he ordered this, Tsering Thar was beaten up badly and he was in a critical condition when he was taken to hospital.

The people could break some valuable things from the restaurant, pub and brothel of Ma-Shoe-Phen, but couldn’t do anything to him.

When the people appealed this to the concerned officer, they were discontented with the reply. The officer told them, “In order to develop one’s region, big merchants need to be cordially invited and not to blame them with such unwanted case. A fine to murder a man is below 1 lakh but you are 5-6 lakh in debt to Ma-Shoe-Phen for breaking several invaluable things. According to the constitution of the country, if you are unable to pay off the debt then the leaders are compelled to take decision against you.”

These days, such crime is being commited everywhere in  Tibet.

Secondly, on 19th October 2006 in Zoe-Ge-Thevo-Dhong-Ne-Chhoe School, a Tibetan student of 13 was rapped by a Chinese teacher and also frightened her to keep it as a secret.

But later, this was known to her father who complained it to the school principal. The teacher didn’t agree it as a truth but emphasised it as a baseless blame. After hearing such  wrong statement, the people lost temper and out of anger and frustration,they bit the rapist altogether and had to be taken to hospital.

After a fake detection, the school principal expelled the girl from the school and allowed the rapist teacher to continue his work in the school. The girl hails from Tsong-Rung-Lha-Lung-Nangpa and she is only 13 years old.
